Ways to Get Involved with Bartley
We are always very keen for parents to help in school if they are able to do so. This can take many forms, some of which are:
-
Helping with reading/other activities
-
Helping on school trips, both day and residential
-
Becoming a member of the school’s Parent Teacher Association (PTA) Committee, or one of its listed helpers
-
Helping on special curriculum days
-
Becoming a school governor
-
Helping run a lunchtime activity
If you are interested in helping please contact your child’s class teacher in the first instance. As a volunteer in school with access to children, you will be asked, in the children’s interests, to complete a self-declaration police check form and a DIsclosure Barring Service form (formerly known as Criminal Records Bureau).
